Jill Scott has announced rescheduled dates for her headlining tour of the U.S., which will celebrate the 23rd anniversary of her debut album, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.
The 20-date trek will kick off on February 28, 2023 at Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia. The tour concludes on June 22 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 9, at 10 a.m. local time on missjillscott.com.
Scott was initially scheduled to launch her tour in 2020 to celebrate her album’s 20th anniversary. However, the tour was postponed due to the pandemic.
During the tour, Scott will perform the album in its entirety.
“My band and I were so excited three years ago, but that damn COVID shut us down,” Scott said in a press release. “Now, we outside! Come see me. Come feel again. Relive your favorite moments. Y’all ready to settle down and get with this?!? It’s a lot of love here.”
