Nina Montgomery is more than a radio queen; she is a servant and always has been.

Sure, for a brief time in college she was an actual waitress (thanks for the tips, it paid for headphones etc.) but from the moment she realized that speaking to folks meant connecting with them and connecting resources for them, well the only option in her heart was to stay connected to the only source to be consistently plugged in to the community 24/7 and it’s FREE.

From Country Radio to Hip-Hop she’s done it all and for a really, really, long time.  Her early morning and Quiet Storm radio days began in the late 80s at KGRM college radio station and simultaneously for pay at various other local radio stations while she completed her BA at Grambling State University.

For fun, Nina loves to learn new things. She just learned to ride a bicycle for the first time!  You can see it on her TikTok page.
