Daddy Yankee and Shenseea have reached No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart with Echo, their collaboration tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026 music campaign.
The single rose from No. 6 to No. 1 on the chart dated July 11, giving Shenseea her first leader on a Latin chart. The milestone is especially notable because it also places the Jamaican artist in a rare position among Caribbean women crossing into Latin radio at this level.
For Daddy Yankee, the song adds another major chart mark to a long career. Echo becomes his 31st No. 1 on Latin Airplay, tying him with Bad Bunny for fourth place among the artists with the most No. 1 songs in the chart’s history.
The track arrives as music connected to the 2026 World Cup begins to build momentum ahead of the tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With its mix of Latin, dancehall, and global pop energy, Echo now has a stronger radio platform heading into that rollout.
