Steve Lacy has released The Feeling, a new single from his upcoming third album, Oh Yeah?, which is scheduled to arrive next month. The song comes with a video directed by Matthew Castellanos, giving the rollout a darker, more surreal visual tone.
The clip opens with Lacy’s head floating in darkness before moving through a series of stark and dreamlike scenes. He appears strumming an acoustic guitar in an empty room, singing near a sparkler, and posing against psychedelic backdrops. The visuals keep the focus on mood and atmosphere rather than a traditional storyline.
Oh Yeah? follows Lacy’s 2022 album Gemini Rights, a project that brought him wider recognition and earned the Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album in 2023. That album also included Bad Habit, his biggest hit so far.
Lacy began teasing this next chapter in October 2025 with Nice Shoes, describing the new music as part of a fresh creative era.
