Jay Worthy is mixing hip-hop, funk and old-school gaming as he prepares for the release of his new collaborative album with George Clinton. As part of the rollout, the rapper has introduced a 16-bit video game inspired by the track P of the Week.
The game arrives alongside new details about Generation P, which is scheduled for release on August 28. The project brings Jay Worthy together with Clinton and LNDN DRGS, extending a musical connection that previously produced the 2025 track P Funkentelechy.
P of the Week features Larry June and Leven Kali, while the album’s guest list includes Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla ign,ChannelTres,TerraceMartin,Curreny, 03 Greedo, Del the Funky Homosapien, Aceyalone and Ab-Soul.
Generation P is set to contain 12 tracks, including Knee Deep, Atomic P and One Nation. The combination of Clinton’s long-established funk influence and Jay Worthy’s West Coast hip-hop style gives the project a clear connection between different generations of music.
